Each issue includes inspiring feature articles and galleries showing artists stretching the art of woodcarving, comprehensive step-by-step articles outlining the steps to recreate a carving, pattern profiles to inspire more experienced readers, and reviews of the newest and most useful tools.<\/p>\n

Fox Chapel Publishing<\/h3>\n

Fox Chapel Publishing publishes books, magazines, patterns, and videos for do-it-yourself enthusiasts. We inspire and inform readers who enjoy a variety of crafts and hobbies, including woodworking, jewelry making, scrapbooking, sewing, boating, back-yard farming, wine & beer-making, and much more.<\/p>\n

Our greatest joy comes from working with talented craftspeople to make their designs and techniques available for everyone who shares the love of creating things by hand.<\/p>\n

We publish two magazines, Woodcarving Illustrated <\/em>and\u00a0Scroll Saw Woodworking & Crafts,\u00a0<\/em>and more than 200 book and DVD titles. Our imprints include Design Originals and Heliconia Press.<\/p>\n

Alan Giagnocavo, Publisher<\/strong>
\nAlan Giagnocavo is the publisher of Fox Chapel Publishing. The company\u00a0got its start in 1991 when Alan Giagnocavo relocated to Lancaster County, Pa., from Canada. Alan had worked at a family bookstore for many years, and moved to the United States to start a business of his own.<\/p>\n

Dorissa Bolinski, Editor\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dorissa Bolinski has worked as an editor for her entire career, dealing with subject matter as diverse as health and fitness, technology, and higher ed. She has a life-long love of the arts and a deep appreciation of people who spend their lives creating things. She joined Fox Chapel Publishing in 2023.<\/p>\n

Kelly Umenhofer, Editorial Administrator
